Council elections will take place on Saturday 26 October. 
 
On Tuesday 17 September, we will enter the election period which is also known as 'caretaker period'. 
 
During the election period there are rules in place that prevent us from publishing material to avoid any breaches of the Local Government Act 2020.  
 
As a result, all material published on our website, social media channels will be moderated and comments will be turned off, newsletters and our engagement projects will be paused until the end of the election. 

These changes will be in place from noon Tuesday 17 September to Monday 28 October 2024.
