We are seeking suggestions to name the new park at 14 Frith Street, Brunswick. It is part of our 'Park Close to Home’ initiative to ensure all residents have access to quality open space within walking distance from their home.
We now need to name the new park, this is an exciting opportunity for you to be a part of the naming process and we are seeking your naming suggestions. Anyone can submit a name suggestion.
A submission should include relevant background information and needs to meet the criteria set out in Council’s Naming Merri-bek Places Policy and the State Government’s Naming rules for places in Victoria – Statutory requirements for naming roads, features and localities – 2022, governed by Geographic Names Victoria.
Preference will also be given to suggestions that meet the criteria in our Naming Places Policy page.
