Merri-bek City Council, in accordance with Section 114 of the Local Government Act 2020, gives notice of its intention to sell the Council-owned land at 10 Murrell Street, Glenroy.
It is Council’s intention to sell the land by a public process in accordance with the State Government’s “Local Government Best Practice Guidelines for the Sale, Exchange and Transfer of Land”.
In accordance with Council’s Community Engagement Policy, we are inviting submissions on the proposal to sell the site.
Any person wishing to make a submission on the proposal must do using any of the below methods by no later than 5.00 pm on Friday 19 September.
A person making a submission is entitled to request in the submission that they wish to appear in person in support of the submission, or to be represented by a person specified in the submission, at a Hearing of Submissions Committee meeting to be held at a date and time to be determined by Council.

All submitters will be contacted to confirm the date, time and venue for the Hearing of Submissions Committee meeting.
Following the Hearing of Submissions, Council will consider whether or not to proceed with the sale of the site at a future meeting.
