If your bins are not collected on Tuesday, please bring them back in until your next scheduled collection. Services south of Bell Street are not affected by industrial action. On Thursday 19 October in the late afternoon, there was a Pro-Palestine rally held in Coburg. This was a community-run rally and was not officially endorsed or supported by Merri-bek City Council or the Merri-bek City Council administration.

Merri-bek City Council does not have a stance on the current conflict in Gaza. However, we do respect the right of our community to peacefully protest. We value and respect the human rights of every member of our community. You can find out more information about human rights on our website.
