Access and Support Lively

We are proud to offer Lively a CHSP-funded program that’s revolutionising aged care through intergenerational connection.

The program pairs older community members with enthusiastic, big-hearted helpers (18-25) who bring joy, companionship and practical assistance into the lives of the community.

By providing flexible, personalised support Lively empowers older adults to stay connected, creative and curious while thriving at home longer. All relationships are built on equality and mutual exchange where both helpers and elders contribute from each other’s experiences and knowledge.

The program can help you out with:

Technology - Helpers can grow your confidence with devices and learn about the online world.

Social gardening - Helpers can be an extra pair of hands to bring some joy back to your yard.

Help around the home - Helpers are trained to help you keep your home tidy and pleasant and tackle odd jobs.

Personal projects - Helps can help you paint outdoor furniture, organise photos, write your life story or start a new craft project.

Transport out and about - Helpers can help you get out of the house for outings and appointments.
