Expression of Interest are open for our Festivals Development Program

Our Festivals Development Program offers an excellent opportunity for artists and producers interested in creating new, engaging, and family-friendly work for the communities of Merri-bek.  

It includes: 

  • support for a new performance, live art or participatory works 
  • up to $10,000 funding per project (two projects will be selected) 
  • premiere at a Merri-bek City Council presented festival or event. 

Applications close: Sunday 21 June 2026 at 11:59PM 
Successful applicants will be notified late July 2026.
