In the Making

About In the Making

In the Making is an Arts Merri-bek program designed for artists to share works in progress with peers and mentors in a supportive environment.

Through dedicated sessions, artists receive constructive peer feedback and professional guidance to help strengthen and evolve their creative practice. The program also offers valuable opportunities to expand local networks and connect with fellow artists and industry professionals.

We are offering three separate streams for writers, visual artists and performers throughout 2026 and 2027. Each stream is facilitated by experienced arts practitioners with strong connections across their respective fields, ensuring participants gain meaningful support.

In the Making 2026–2027 is currently underway, with each stream delivered seasonally

Program stream:

• In the Making - Writing (Nov-Dec 2026)
• In the Making - Performance (Coming soon in 2027)
• In the Making - Visual Arts (Coming soon in 2027)
