Organised sport at ATC Cook Reserve 

ATC Cook Reserve is a one of our 55+ shared open spaces in Merri-bek. Local sportclubs will utlisise the oval at scheduled times. The times may change at late notice.  These are the sporting organisations that use the oval.

Glenroy Community Tennis Upgrade Project

Planning is currently underway to upgrade the Glenroy Community Tennis Facility. The project will deliver improved tennis infrastructure through upgraded LED court lighting, resurfaced courts and enhanced access and security systems, creating a safer, more accessible and modern facility for the Glenroy community.

We expect to start work on the sports field lighting upgrades in August/September 2026 with completion within mid 2027.

Park features

    Walking your dog

      General dog walking information

      At off-leash dog parks you must still keep your dog under control. You can find out more about these rules on our Park amenities and equipment page.

      In all other public places, dogs must be kept in control with a leash, cord, or chain. 

      • Dogs are prohibited from within 15 metres of playgrounds
      • Within creeks.
      • Dogs must be off the field/ground when organised sport is in progress. Dogs must be on a lead within 15 metres of the sporting ground/fence.  Penalties may apply.
