How to hire a small hall or meeting room

  1. To find the right venue for your event, look through our venues on our Halls and meeting rooms pages.
  2. Check the venue's availability or make a tentative booking request on our eServices website.
  3. Fill in a venue booking form. You can find these on our Venue booking form page.                                   
  4. Email your completed booking form to communityvenues@merri-bek.vic.gov.au within 14 days. If you don't email us a completed booking form within 14 days we will cancel your tentative booking request.
  5. Once we receive your completed booking form, allow 5 working days for us to process it.
  6. If your booking is successful we will send you a confirmation letter.
  7. You must pay all the fees before your event.

We do not provide public liability insurance to commercial bookings. Community groups, not for profit clubs and individuals can purchase insurance here:

  • You must pick up the meeting room keys from the library during it's business hours. To discuss key collection, email ctlibrary@merri-bek.vic.gov.au or call 9384 9200.

    Campbell Turnbull Library's opening hours are:

    • Mondays from 1pm to 5pm
    • Tuesdays from 10am to 8pm
    • Wednesdays from 10am to 5pm
    • Thursdays from 10am to 5pm
    • Fridays from 10am to 5pm
    • Saturdays from 10am to 1pm
    • Sundays - closed
