You will need to submit a basic diagram, either hand-drawn or digital, of where you are planning to run your event. Council will then review your plan and, if approved, provide you with a permit and official Traffic Management Plan for the road closure.

Merri-bek City Council requires a completed Risk and Safety Plan to be submitted to Council prior to your event. Please note: we have provided a draft. The hazards and actions are provided as examples. Your risk discussion should be undertaken by the organisers before the day of the event to identify and plan how to address potential hazards.
