About In the Making

In the Making is a new Arts Merri-bek program designed for artists to share works in progress with peers and mentors in a supportive environment. 

Through dedicated sessions, artists receive constructive peer feedback and professional guidance to help strengthen and evolve their creative practice. The program also offers valuable opportunities to expand local networks and connect with fellow artists and industry professionals. 

Each stream is facilitated by experienced arts practitioners with strong connections across their respective fields, ensuring participants gain meaningful support. 

In the Making is the next evolution of Making it in Merri-bek, the long-standing professional development initiative for local artists.
