Coburg Night Market 2025
Coburg Night Market returns across three exciting dates this December. We're showcasing the spirit of Melbourne’s north with incredible food, handmade goods and free live entertainment for all ages.
Set in the historic Bridges Reserve – just a short stroll from the Coburg CBD – this much-loved local event celebrates the best of our community: delicious flavours, creative makers and a warm, family-friendly atmosphere.

Bee-longing: A Collective Drawing WorkshopThis walk-in workshop invites participants of all ages to decorate pre-cut hexagonal wooden magnets using acrylic paint markers. Each magnet acts as a “window into Merri-bek”, a drawing inspired by a favourite place, activity or memory of Coburg.

Roving PerformanceSanctum Studio presents, for the first time on Earth, the Braxadragon – an incredible intergalactic specimen cultivated from cuttings collected on Planet Bird Colourful Jelly Sparkle. When the sun goes down, the Nankeen Night Herons will be released – two long-legged waterbirds that move through the crowd like ghosts.

Children’s Gallery – Merri-bek Summer ShowMerri-bek’s Counihan Gallery is inviting young creatives to make a postcard-sized drawing to display in the Gallery’s windows this January.

Kids Jewellery WorkshopJoin First Nations artist Creed Custom Designs for a fun and creative Kids Jewellery Workshop. Guided by an experienced artist and maker, children will design and create their own unique jewellery using colourful beads and natural materials.

Location: Bridges Reserve, Bell St Coburg 3058.
Come to Coburg Night Market by bicycle!
This is plenty of secure bike parking available outside Coburg Leisure Centre.
You can also avoid traffic by using a bike trail. The closest trails to Coburg Night Market are:

The following transport lines have routes that pass near Bell Street and Sydney Road.
Parking
Accessible parking is available in the Coburg Leisure Centre car park on Russell St.
Street parking will be available. Please ensure to read parking signs.
Accessibility
The Coburg Night Market site is physically accessible. Accessible bathrooms are available outside behind Coburg Leisure Centre on the Southeast Corner of the site. The Welcome to Country and opening speeches will have Auslan translations.
Expect lively music and a friendly, bustling atmosphere, however there is a chill zone located on site, nestled under the trees.
If you have any specific access or other needs, please ask one of our friendly staff in the pink or black Arts Merri-bek t-shirts.
Conditions of Entry
Coburg Night Market is a family-friendly event.
Patrons under the age of 18 require a parent or legal guardian to accompany them at the event. Siblings or friends will not be permitted to bring underage patrons to the event. Evidence of legal guardianship may be requested, and the policy will be strictly enforced.
There is a zero-tolerance policy for racism, ableism, transphobia, homophobia, Islamophobia, antisemitism, sexism or any other forms of discrimination.
