Park improvements

In 2016, a new nature play space was created to encourage children to interact with water and nature, featuring a hand water pump at the top of a playful mound, a bird-hide play structure, timber tee pee, and more traditional play equipment.

A note on dogs at Kirkdale Park

Kirkdale Park is an off-leash park, however dogs are not permitted in the play space or barbecue areas at any time, and must be on leash within 2 metres of the Merri Creek Shared Trail.
