Park improvements

In 2016, a new play space was constructed in the car park area, and the old play equipment was replaced with a nature play area. Extensive shade trees were planted, park furniture was upgraded and fencing was replaced.

In 2017, a shared path was constructed to meet DDA accessibility requirements replacing the informal pedestrian path (goat track) linking Loongana Avenue down to the existing asphalt path next to the Moonee Ponds Creek.
