Zero Waste Garden to Plate Cooking Workshop
Join us at the beautiful Fawkner Food Bowls urban farm to see a delicious autumn harvest zero waste meal created by Sharif Hassan and Gregory Lorenzetti. These passionate advocates for garden to plate zero waste cooking will provide accessible, practical tips for waste and fuss free affordable cooking. The workshop includes a tour of the urban farm, cooking demonstration and tasting at the end of the class.
No experience is necessary. Participants should bring: sturdy foot ware, suitable all weather clothing including a hat, drink bottle and note pad.
This My Smart Garden workshop is proudly presented by the Jesuit Social Services Ecological Justice Hub and Fawkner Food Bowls with the support of Moreland City Council. Please note that this is an event for City of Merri-bek / Melbourne residents only.
QR Code check-in with vaccination certificate will be required for all participants over 12 years of age.
