Exhibition Opening

Please join us for our first exhibition launch of the year. We are opening our 2025 exhibition calendar with three solo shows -

'YELLOW PAINT'
'Fairy Tales from the Celestial Garden', and
'Put Your Head On My Shoulder'.

In 'YELLOW PAINT', Meanjin based artist Mark du Potiers presents a vibrant collection of brightly coloured soft sculptures that examine how images, ideas, and meanings transform across cultural contexts.

In 'Fairy Tales from the Celestial Garden', Gadigal based artist Jayanto Tan draws on deeply rooted family memories and heirlooms, offering us a poignant reconnection with his fragmented heritage.

'Put Your Head on My Shoulder' explores loneliness and intimacy, through interactive installations inspired by Naarm based Andrew Chan’s experiences as a queer migrant.

To learn more about the exhibitions visit our YELLOW PAINT exhibition page, our Fairy Tales from the Celestial Garden exhibition page, or our Put Your Head on My Shoulder exhibition page.

Join us from 2pm in the foyer of Brunswick Town Hall for snacks from Zaatar and drinks from Noisy Ritual. At 2:30pm, we will have a Welcome to Country by a Wurundjeri Elder, followed by the official launch of the exhibitions.
