Colour My World

Colour My World by Joshua Hede presents a vibrant new series of abstract drawings. Created over twelve months, using felt-tip markers, the works function both as individual artworks and as an expansive installation of vivid, rhythmic compositions.

Through an intuitive and deeply personal process, Joshua translates his experience of sound, movement, and daily encounters into drawings that pulse with energy. As an artist with Down Syndrome, his practice challenges conventional narratives around disability and creativity, offering a window into a deeply sensory and emotionally resonant world.

Joshua’s work is not merely expressive, it is a conversation between his external and internal worlds, an artistic mapping of his lived experience.
