Brunswick Community Wellness Gathering – Free Mental Health & Wellness Event

A gentle invitation to pause, breathe, and reconnect.

The Community Wellness Gathering is a free, heart-led event created to support mental wellbeing, connection, and a sense of belonging within the community.

Born from lived experience, this gathering was inspired by the quieter moments of navigating anxiety, overwhelm, and the emotional weight of everyday life. It is created as a space where people can come exactly as they are — without expectation — and feel supported, held, and not alone.

Throughout the afternoon, local facilitators and community practitioners will offer a range of accessible sessions including yin yoga, breathwork, guided meditation, and a closing sound journey. Alongside these, the atrium will remain open as a relaxed, drop-in space with community stalls, a shared art experience, and quiet areas for rest and reflection.

The day will open with a Welcome to Country by Wurundjeri Elder Uncle Colin Hunter, honouring connection to Country, culture, and community.

Participants are welcome to join up to two sessions, or simply spend time in the space in a way that feels right for them, whether that’s taking part in a session, connecting with others, or sitting quietly.

No prior experience is needed.

You don’t have to be okay to come.

You are welcome just as you are.
