‘Beacon’ is an exhibition by artists from Arts Access Victoria’s Artstop Studio.

This exhibition explores the concept of disability, identity, safety, and communication through light and colour. The work is a response to the idea of a beacon. Creating new ways of relating to the way light acts as a warning, signal, or celebration.

Artstop is a visual arts studio based in Brunswick where fifteen artists meet weekly to connect and develop their art practices.

Enter ‘Beacon’, a space to reflect and connect on what it means to be human.

‘Beacon’ features work by Caroline Alcalde, Claire, Danny Do, Hui, Josephine Lazidis, Kelly Wright, Lisa Pownall, Maree G, Margaret Bold, Melissa, Michael Buckley, Roslyn, Stefano Conti, Teague Leigh, and Theo Psathas.

‘Beacon’ is presented by Arts Access Victoria. Arts Access Victoria is proudly supported by Creative Australia and the Victorian Government.
