Celebrating NAIDOC week Join historian, Dr Marguerita Stephens and respected Boonwurrung Elder, Fay Stewart Muir, OAM as they discuss the impact of colonisation on the Kulin clans of Naarm/Melbourne and share their experience of collaborating across cultures to create this detailed and ground-breaking work.
Based on the journal of Assistant Protector William Thomas - an early resident of Coburg/Merri-bek - the book gives a detailed account of the dire impacts of British colonisation on the Kulin people and their struggle for survival.
