Scam awareness for seniors

In this session, a representative from the National Anti-Scam Centre (also known as Scamwatch), will deliver a free presentation designed to help you identify scams and stay safe.

They will showcase some real-life examples and let you know what to do if you have been targeted.

They will provide an overview of some Government initiatives designed to help make Australia a harder target for scams.

You will also have the opportunity to meet staff from the Age Well Program at Merri-bek City Council and ask any questions you may have about services and activities for older people.

The session will be held at the Coburg Civic centre in the Bagung-bulok (Concert Hall) room. The venue is closest to the Urquhart Street entrance.
