Farhad Bandesh has had a long journey from fleeing his homeland, Kurdistan, to seeking safety in Australia. He and many others endured a perilous sea journey.
He was then imprisoned on Christmas Island, Manus Island and in Melbourne for nearly 8 years. Since being released he has become the inspiration for, and a part of Bandesh Wine & Spirits, a local Merri-bek business founded by local Jenell Quinsee.
