Helio Press 10 Year Anniversary exhibition
Helio Press invites you to celebrate the ten year anniversary of the ever-expanding universe of our risograph print studio with Ten Trips Around The Sun.
At the centre of this event will be an exhibition of Helio Press’s vast archive of risograph printed matter. Like a constellation assembled over time, the exhibition brings together pieces printed for hundreds of artists, each one a point of light marking a moment in Helio’s journey through the creative cosmos.
Alongside a vast array of art prints, zines, and other printed ephemera, visitors can explore proofs, test sheets, notes, and studio fragments reconstituted in the gallery space.
We’ll also be showcasing Helio Press’s series of published zines and art prints – including three new commissioned risograph prints by artists April Phillips, Safa El Samad and Em Niwa.
Together, these risograph artifacts illuminate Helio’s journey and the many artists and writers who have travelled with us through the Heliosphere.
Join us for the opening night on Thursday January 29, 6 – 9pm at Schoolhouse Studios.
We are also hosting a Print Fair on Saturday January 31, 11am-4pm.
