Festive Art on Windows
With the help of over 30 artists from near and far, over 40 shopfront windows along Sydney Road Brunswick will be transformed into a colourful interpretation of the festive season – on display from Saturday 26 November!
Completed over two weekends, the festive window creations can be found in the Anstey Precinct (Victoria Street to Albion Street of Sydney Road Brunswick) from 26 November, and Jewell Precinct (Brunswick Road to Glenlyon Road of Sydney Road Brunswick) from 3 December – all on display until January 2023.
From winter wonderlands and mystic creatures, flora and fauna; wreaths, candy canes and ice creams; worldly wonders, colourful expressions and messages of well-wishes – this year’s creations from participating artists are a feast to behold and truly worth a weekend wander.
Be part of the excitement and pure joy, and be present on the painting days!
It’s a great opportunity to get photos with the artists, and see their creations come to life. Shopfront windows in the Anstey Precinct (from Victoria Street to Albion Steet, Sydney Road Brunswick) will be painted on Saturday 26 November, from 10am to 4pm.
Shopfront windows in the Jewell Precinct (from Brunswick Road to Glenlyon Road, Sydney Road Brunswick) will be painted on Saturday 3 December, from 10am to 4pm. All wonderous window creations will be on display until January 2023. With so many windows to see, you’re best to download a map (view map here) and make a day of it!
