Fawkner Memorial Park Community Tree Planting

Join us on Sunday 27 July for a Community Tree Planting Day at Fawkner Memorial Park.

This community event is part of National Tree Day and is free to attend.

We welcome gardeners of all ages and skill levels, including kids! We ask that any children attending be supervised by a parent or caretaker.

Complimentary coffee and refreshments will be provided, along with all the gardening tools you’ll need.

All attendees will also get to take home a native plant to help increase the biodiversity of their own green spaces.

Public transport: If you’re entering from Fawkner Train Station, head north along the bike path until you enter Fawkner Memorial Park near the train overpass. At the main roundabout with the fountain, continue north along Seventh Avenue (the fifth exit on the roundabout) until you reach the event site on your left-hand side. This is approximately a 13-minute walk or 3-minute bike ride.
