Become a Nature Steward this Autumn

Discover more about our local flora and fauna, meet others, and learn how you can connect, support, and get active for nature.
Nature Stewards is a 10-week program that will introduce you to your local and wider Victorian ecosystems and natural places, including:
- Rocks and soils Fungi
- plants
- animals
- climate change and seasons
- ways to care for Country and manage private property
- being a citizen scientist, conservation volunteer, advocate for nature, or a nature guide

Cost
For Merri-bek City Council residents this course will cost:
- $250 Full fee
- $70 Concession*
For non-Moreland City Council residents this course will cost:
- $350 Full fee
- $90 Concession*
*Concession includes health care card holders, full time students, or pensioners.
This course will not run on Labour Day, Easter, ANZAC Day long weekends.

Suitable for
Suitable for people aged 18 years and older.
This course is best suited to people:
- with little or no formal environmental education
- who are willing to try, or continue, with environmental volunteering
- who are able to take part in Saturday field trips (4 during program, each trip is 4 hours in length)
