Around the Block

Merri-bek has joined with Next Wave (at Brunswick Mechanics' Institute) and Blak Dot Gallery (at the new Balam Balam Place) to add colour and light to Brunswick this winter.

‘Around the Block’ is a series of outdoor moving image works presented across Counihan Gallery’s Winter Night Screen, Merri-bek’s Michelle Guglielmo Park projection screen, and incorporating the screening programs of Blak Dot Gallery and Next Wave.

On show across all venues until 16 August, the screens light up from dusk. Rug up and take a wander!

Artists include: Axel Gary, Liwen Lian, Jacqui Wandin and Little Projector Company, d duàn, Linda Loh, Ma Ei, Gabrielle Leah, New Danish Quapoor, April Phillips, Diana Paez, Emma Salmon.
