Learn to belly dance with Amanda from APB Dance!

If you've ever been to a Middle Eastern restaurant, you've probably watched a belly dancer entertain you while you ate. Maybe you were (or still are) a fan of Shakira. What do these two have in common? BELLY DANCE!

While the name isn't the best description of what the dance is all about, this low-impact and super fun dance is accessible to everyone.

From hip-shaking shimmies to body-rolling undulations and every muscle in between - belly dancing is a great way to get you moving and grooving your way to feeling healthy and comfortable in your body.

What do we do?
1. We warm up to shake off the day and get ready to move
2. We learn some moves and practice them
3. We put the moves together into a fun combo
4. We cool down and get ready to get back into our non-shimmy lives

What should I wear?
- Comfortable clothes (no need to show your belly).
- You can dance barefoot, or in dance shoes (no street shoes).
- Bring a hip scarf if you have one or you can borrow one from Amanda for the class.

What should I bring?
- A water bottle and to be ready for fun!

I have a disability or a physical impediment, can I still attend?
You sure can! APB Dance classes are delivered in a way to be accessible to everyone. Be sure to let Amanda know and she can provide you with suitable modifications so you can participate.
