A Lemon for Safiya: A Twilight Book Launch

Join author of A Lemon for Safiya, Jemima Shafei-Ongu in a nurturing evening of conversation, craft, and connection.

This evening will involve a story time to nourish your soul, a Q&A session with Jemima, delicious snacks inspired by the story, craft activities that the whole family can enjoy, and a raffle for prizes, which includes a lemon tree!

A Lemon for Safiya is a book about a little girl and her family who help a lost and confused stranger find her way home, a moving story about compassion, aging and identity.

This is a free event, but please register for catering purposes.

Pictures & Pages will be there with books for you to purchase, and book signing will also be available on the night.

About the Author: Jemima Shafei-Ongu is an author, psychologist and teacher, who is passionate about picture books and their power to connect us. Her stories foster inclusion, wellbeing and a sense of belonging. She lives on unceded Dharug country /Sydney with her husband, their mini schnauzer and whichever of their three daughters is in the country at the time.
