Siren Songs from the Baltic Sea

This program has now booked out.

Siren Songs from the Baltic Sea celebrates International Women’s Day with live performances of women’s songs by Melbourne-Lithuanian folkloric ensemble The Lost Clog and the Melbourne Estonian Society ‘Kodu’ Women’s Choir.

Performed amidst The Sparrow Made Some Beer - visual artist Jazmina Cininas’ lagerphonic wonderland - Siren Songs from the Baltic Sea promises to transport you on a visual and sonic journey to the forests and fields of Lithuania and Estonia. The performances pay homage to mothers and daughters, women’s work, and the seasons.

This project is supported by the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria.
