In addition to social distancing and hand hygiene, contactless thermometers serve as a key measure that can be taken by businesses to help minimise the spread of the COVID-19.

The thermometers allow a check for fever to be carried out from a safe distance and can be used to conduct daily temperature checks on employees

As an extra measure to minimise the spread of COVID-19 in the workplace, the state government is offering free contactless thermometers to eligible businesses.

Are you eligible to receive a free contactless thermometer?

Receive a free contactless thermometer if your business meets all four of the following conditions:

  1. Business has a registered premise in Merri-bek
  2. Business is still operating with staff physically onsite
  3. Employ at least 5 staff members who work concurrently at the same premises
  4. Business has not been able to procure a contactless thermometer from suppliers

We will organise delivery of the thermometer/s to businesses who meet the eligibility requirements.
